Rain, rain go away !

Hey everyone,

Today's weather was so much different than yesterdays. It rained all day and at one point I thought the garden was going to flood again :(

To brighten the mood a little I decided to make today's card using the pink and green challenge over at http://wildorchidchallenge
and also combine this with the sketch challenge over at

For this card I used 10mm pink tone roses and green cherry blossoms from
http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com/. Pretty Bouquet stamped image from http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/. I used a Martha Stewart branch punch, papers which were free gifts from a magazine, card stock and sentiment, gems and ribbon from stash. The image was coloured with Pro markers.

I pretty much stuck with the sketch from CLP #50 challenge.
I really enjoyed using the bright colours on such a dull day.

Bye for now
Love
Lou x

  3. Hi Lou

Your card is beautiful - I love that image and the way you have coloured her, and your layout and embellies are fab!

We'd actually love to see more pink if possible on your future entries... although sometimes I know it's difficult to get cameras to behave and actually show the proper colour!

Thank you for joining in our very first challenge.... We're really excited to see so many people joining in - good luck and hope to see you again soon!

    Hugs
    Christine (ITP)
